Hey Bama, Take your battery into a parts store with one of the really nice, new battery testers these guys have been putting in there stores. They can test your battery to see if it will accept and hold charge within just a couple of minutes. Our local advance auto has one, and it is far and away better than the battery tester at the autozone across the road. If you have them test your battery and they say, "We'll need to charge it overnight", that's the WRONG kind of tester! Does sound like a bad battery, but you may still have some bad cables or connections. My Bronco acted the same way and we traced it back to a battery cable that had corroded inside the insulation such that it was not readily apparent. We found that one by disconnecting cables, cleaning contacts, and checking resistance with a meter before reinstalling. I think that bad cable read around 6-8 ohms, and I think all the good ones came in around 1 ohm. Good luck, and GO VOLS! Darren
