There is a notch in the rocker shaft that accomdates the stud bolts that hold the assembly in place. Make sure that is lined up when you put it back. Others are correct on adjustments, etc. I had a Farmall C that the notch in the rocker shaft was not lined up when someone put the rocker assembly on. They forced it on anyway. I had a real hard time getting that off!! So it the assembly does not go freely down on the stud bolts, something is not right.
