I've seen these available after market but don't remember where. Here is what I did. I bought a package of copper Chore Boy scrubbing pads at the local supermarket and packed it in there. Copper won't rust it'll still allow engine to breath and won't let any thing that'll cause damage into motor. If I did the right thing is yet to be seen but working well right now. HTH, Mike
