One thing for sure is it won't be hard to find something with more power than an 8N. Live hydraulics are available on most newer tractors and on a lot of older ones. Down pressure is tough to find. I Have it on my old smta with an after market 3 point and a lot of the older IH tractors that had aftermarket 3 points had this feature. I don't know what you want the down pressure for, I mostly use mine set for up only. Most implements are made to dig or whatever on their own if adjusted and maintained correctly. If the implement won't dig in, down pressure tends to just lift the back of your tractor so you have no traction. Type tractor you want depends upon how much more power you want,if you want live pto also, size that you want or can use etc. Look around and see what is available for what you want to pay. If you have a question on a model through it out here and someone will be glad to help I'm sure.
