Shaggy,
I feel your pain,both of my parents are gone now.My dad was a great driver until the very end,but my mother was never a good driver.When my brother,sister,and I told mom we did not want her driving any more she was almost relieved.The biggest thing is to make sure that your dad has transportation to get where he wants to go.My Mom enjoyed getting driven around and dropped off at the door. If everybody pitches in ,it eases the pain for your father.Don't leave him out on an Island,it is tough enough just getting old.
