Sounds good to me. With luck you'll never have any trouble with it. The big thing is, when you drained it you didn't get any chunks of steel.
I put a bar magnet right inside the drains of mine, with a washer JBwelded to it to have something to grab with the needle nose. Collects shavings, something to add interest when it's time for an oil change.
