Ty, I have worked on these old Farmalls for around 30 yrs. and my experience is that if they run good at an idle but miss when you pull the throttle back, the power valve(screw) on the carburator needs to be open more. The air screw should be shut then opened 1 turn and the power screw shut and then opened 2 and 3/4 turns.Hope this works for you. The power screw is the one on the bottom front of the carb.
