whatever works is right- having backhoes and skidsteers around makes splitting tractors a lot easier. another trick we have is when my uncle bought his 300 and had to split it, he welded feet onto the end of some old spreader web crossbars and cut holes in them to bolt onto the sides of the bellhousing to use as legs. Works on the little ones but anything biger than the 400 gets blocking stacked under it
