Hi Joe, well I just tore a 350 down that had a noise in the T/A area--found the culprit to be the live pto gear BUT the T/A unit was trashed.
I talked to Pete at Wisconsin tractor and he said he could sell me the parts(used) to rebuild for 275. My T/a was so bad--primary sun gear-clutch carrier-ramp and over run clutch + the clutchshaft coupler look like they came from Iraq after the bombing. I opted for the T/A eliminator from Bate corp for 350 and it wont coast going down these east Oregon hills ANYMORE.Oh yes and no 2 plantgear shaft was burned and lost all the (23) needles and shaft which only come as a set of 3 planets and bearing/shaft kit. John
