RB, when the fingers on the TA clutch go bad, it is almost impossible to get out of gear. Pull the inspection cover on top of the ta case and make sure that all 3 fingers are there and make sure they are releasing correctly. That probably is your problem if you've adjusted properly and that hasn't worked. This is what is wrong with my 460. One of the fingers on the TA clutch pressure plate broke off and so it can't release completely. The only way to get it out of gear is to pull it out while moving which is what i have been doing for years until I can get it split to fix it.
