I don't have Guy Fay's book in front of me, but as I remember, there was some production of H's & M's throughout the war, but at a reduced rate.
There was a year with no "official" production of A's, B's & BN's, (1943 if memory serves me right). I read somewhere that Henry Ford asked the War Production Board to allow only Ford to produce farm tractors during the war, but of course all the other manufacturers fought against that idea because of the huge advantage it would have given Ford as soon as the war ended.
Maybe Guy, or somebody else can verify that and/or quote the actual numbers if they see this.
