Thanks very much for the info, do you by chance know the volume of SM reservoir? I have M & MD books, but no SM etc reference. This is a very good, unrestored, weekend working tractor so I think I'll plumb for future growth and go with 3 or 4 spools. I guess the open center means fluid flows through it to next spool if it is not in front or back position? (My dad built feed mills and used hydraulics to controle everything not electric, I sure wish I could ask him stuff now) Do you know why the IHC SM remote valve is 4-way with only 1 lever? I am sure I'm getting spools & ways mixed up as I am trying to digest tractor hydraulics. Thanks again.
