Another one is don't start a tractor from the ground. I have a CA Allis and I was tuning it up and got a little lazy and started it while standing on the ground in front of the right rear wheel. It was in 3rd gear and I had just enough time to get out of the way and watch it run into the shed door and split the door and jamb. My wife asked if someone tried to break into the shed seeing the damage to the door. I only shrugged not being able to admit having done something VERY stupid. Needless to say, walls can be fixed. Doors can be replaced. You only have one life, one spine, and if for nothing else things are a lot easier to do if a body has all its fingers and toes. Brian
