I gave 2500.00 for mine with a thrasher. This was in TX. It may have ben a little high but it was close, in good shape, and needed a little TLC, (valves, tuneup, battery). I was able to drive it home.
Good luck with your LP. One of the other selling points was how clean the oil on the dip stick was.
On a '56 even.
