I am well aware of the superiority of the 234. Used one on an 706 and then 826 for years. I would be putting it on a Super M, and there are horror stories of 234's snapping M axles. I looked at several 234's, but the main reason I am looking is I love IH pickers, I mean love, and I would like to add to my tractor and implement collection every model of picker. I'd use the picker for fun, not farm (well, fun on the farm, I guess, then combine the rest). I'll have a couple 234's in a couple years, there is nothing that irritates me more than watching a picker rust in the weeds. Thanks a ton for the input, your points are well taken, and you gave me information I never heard of before.
