I just bought a 560 IH gas, that is in need of an overhaul. I dynoed it and it turned 50 horse when it was warmed up. Had massive amount of blowby, but didn't spit and sputter. I pulled it a few times in the 10,000 pound class, and it would probably take it 1st gear, torque ahead. Most of the time I would use the torque. Never ran out of power unless 2ed gear torque back. Should I just put the dome pistons in it? What kind of horsepower would I have. Also, if I bored it out, what kind of horse would I have, along with what kind of different parts would I need. Just finished up the M, and now I have a new project. One more thing, if I bored the motor out, should I put it on the walls, and would that make it overheat if I did so? I found a reasonable place that would bore it, and I figure that I would have the money if you guys think that it would be right. Thanks!!
