400 split done ( well sort of)

A few people on the forums suggested that I block the front of the tractor and rig it so that you pull the rear away. Of course I decided not to do it that way. I figured I would block the rear and pull the front away from it. I would have to say that after this. The forum suggestions were correct. If it were not for a suggestion from Nebraska Cowman to use some all thread. This would have been a disaster. I used a cheery picker hooked to the frame rails to support the front and allow me to move it. This did work as you can see, but the front wants to pivot on the chain. I am not sure how to explain it but the wheels moved forward changing the angle. Luckily I have the threaded rod on there to keep it lined up. Needless to say this is as far as I am going to split it this time. There is just enough room for me to get at the clutch and replace it.
