Have you checked out Red Power Forum lately? It's a bigger mess than ever now. Lots of griping and carping about staying "on topic". Not nearly as useful as it used to be.
The only way I have found to reduce the spam is to use a Hotmail or yahoo e-mail on these forums. I still get the trash, but it doesn't jam up my work or home e-mail.
BTW, my record is 372 spam e-mails received in one day. Glad it was on Hotmail.
Although this format sometimes lends itself to trolls and spammers, I still like it better than the other forums I have seen.
