You can buy them at your caseIH dealer. They do screw in and the old freeze plug may be hard to get out. I used a 1" drive rachet and busted the plug and had to drill the center and use a hack saw blade and split it to get out. I guess the early 806's had screw in plugs and the later press in plugs because my 1964 806 has screw in and my 1967 806 has push in freeze plugs. Also if you can get two plugs out and put two block heaters in, it makes a real big difference in the time it takes it to warm up. I have two in my 856 and in one hour at 20 degrees your ready.
