I run an H and an M both the same way you are talking plus another non farmall tractor. I figure if it will start, it will run all day (lights off and don't plan on restarting). Is what the deal is, your battery has to be charged up so far to turn the tractor over, but after it is started, you can basically run the tractor untill the battery is pretty much dead which is along time. How many times will it start on a fully charged battery, you will just have to see but don't shut it off away from a battery charger. Mine will start a good 5 to 10 times depending on how many running hours. But I'm not sure how much you have to turn yours over for it to start. If you got a mag, you only need the battery to start.
