Brian: I am not sure which jet you are talking about on which tractor. Most of my tips come from the many failures I've already had ( and still am making)! The salvage yard I work for is stictly Farmall/I.H. tractors. I have had no formal training other than experience, and you would not believe some of the carbs I get in to rebuild. Many have been out in the weather for 15-20 years and are full of rust. Those are fun. One of the luxuries I do have is access to so many carbs is I can do a lot of expirementing on the junk ones. Suffice to say that in general terms on carburator jets, The "pressed-in" jets I have yet to find a solution to remove without damaging them. Now the jets which are screwed into the carb I have a little better luck with, but only a little. I have built up quite a large collection of left handed drills bits, along with specially sized taps to removed busted or frozen jets. Among my other adventures are dualspeed pto's up to magnum series,4&6 cylinder distributors,Hydraulic remotes,starters,hyrdaulic clutch assists,and mechanical T.A.'s. The work never seems to be done! If ever you have any questions in any of these areas I will give you a practical answer as possible.
