Hi, mind did alot of backfiring until I took off the cap and cleaned it all up and put on new plug wirers with new plugs, I have to fiddle with the choke rod alittle but you can tell when it starts to rev up. Good luck. I bought the D89D plugs and got them at the local Case/IH dealer. Fredwi
