Sounds like a buy price if you are interested in the A. The right guy may very well be able to fix the crack as good as new. Basically just needs to be repaired to the point it doesn't leak water anymore. If it don't pan out, or you decide you don't want the A, you should be able to get your money plus extra back out of it (meaning it is under priced). Those 8N fords are handy, handy, handy with that 3 point hitch but they seem to bring alot of money too. You should be able to get tune-up parts ext. over the counter yet without to much trouble. Implements will moreless have to be found, but hay it's already got a sickle bar mower.
