Nebraska Cowman, Maybe more personal opinion than anything else -- but I wouldn't do it. Here's why: Propane isn't going to be a lot, if any cheaper than gas. So your breakeven point on fuel versus the cost of doing the job is far, far in the future. Any "guru" in the distant future will probably be able to tell that it's not an original propane H (assuming there ever was such a thing). So it won't help the resale value, and may even hinder it. ...and now real personal opinion -- I spent hours pulling little dents, de-rusting, priming, painting and polishing the tank on my H. I think those tanks are a thing of beauty, and you screw up the look of the tractor by kludging in a propane tank. Like I said - personal opinion - everbody is entitled to one.
