Mark: Not 100% certain but I think Gibby is right. There were a few exceptions on that rule of thumb and if my memory serves me correctly I think 766 was one of them. That 360 diesel was quite a vicious engine. IH also put that engine in early 886 and I think they were rated at 85 hp. I drove one of those 886 a bit and in my opinion it could give one of the new 100 hp CaseIH a hard run for the money.
