Had a 410 Massey combine (with rice tires) with a full hopper of corn stuck and sitting on its' belly. We couldn't get a wagon close enough to unload. Hooked a 1066 to the back of the combine, wouldn't budge it. Hooked our 706 to the 10. We had a Quick Hitch on the 7 and I looped it over the top and around the 3rd 'hook'. My dad gave the signal and let out the clutch, followed by me in the 10 and finally my brother on the 7. All of a sudden the front end stands straight up on the 7 and luckily my little brother (13 at the time) has the presence of mind to press in the clutch. The front end comes slamming down but luckily everything was ok. After I hooked up the chain he raised the 3pt all the way up! Not good. Always hook low. I don't recall how we finally got the combine unstuck. One more: the hydraulic brakes are completely useless when the engine is not running as too may be the steering!
