Do's, Don'ts and mistakes with tractors

I was just reading in another post or two about some do's and don'ts and mistakes made and learned on the tractor.
My mistake as a 12 year old was to hook up to a drag that had grass grown over it with a farmall cub. I let out the clutch and the next thing I remember was the front end coming up and then being on the ground. The tractor came up and then fell over to the left side and died. I thought I was dead meat, not from the tractor, but from my dad when he found out. Ran over to the neighbors and got their come along to roll the tractor back over. Only broke the muffler off.
The neighbor did the same thing four times. He broke three of them in half and pinned himself under them a couple of times. He lived through all of them.
So what are your do's, don'ts and mistakes?
