Sounds like a fuel problem to me, the tip off is the fact that you have to choke it to keep it a going,there is a filter in the carb right where the fuel line is screwed in,check that there isn't a blockage in the passage going to the needle......Start at the tank!,check the vent on the cap,check inside the tank for crap in it,take off the sediment bowl and clean the screen and open up the shut off valve and make shure the fuel flows out,sometimes the openings where the fuel comes out will get pluged off,check the fuel line and make shure it is clear and open.....Just for the heck of it,I hade a friend of mine that had trouble getting fuel,she could not figure out what the heck was the problem,come to find out the pivot pin that the flot rids on was half way out,and the flot would cock and limit the amount of fuel that would come into the bowl!,who would of guessed!...............
