That sight looks very familiar. I had to repace the TA in my '55 farmall 400. Depending on how far away you are, i may have a place where you can find very good used gears. I got the bottom of the constant mesh for my '41 H for $25. I would avoid taking the deck off of the tractor until completely necisary. If you are going to replace the TA, e-mail me for some ideas on how to hold front, middle, and rear section of the tractor at once. It's always best to do everything at once so your tractor is only apart once. I would drain the transmission oil and put new in. Mine had over a gallon of water in the rear, and frove up when i was putting it all together in the wintertime. I would also get a new gasget package for the rearend. if you do, e-mail me if you get an extra one with 12 holes, i did, and can't figure out where it goes. My e-mail is jeffg245@hotmail.com
