Hone Farmall H without installing new rings, probl

Curious if a light honing without installing fresh rings will be any problem. The rings look great and the sleeves look pretty good to. I just think a quick honing will clean them up(the tractor sat for many years).
Rings should reseat without problems?
My Farmall H has the M&W flat top piston with the oil scraper ring below the wrist pin.
