Marvin,on my battery cables I put some grease on them to keep em clean.I had the same problem with my lights that you do.I cleaned evry connection and used a product called Liquid Electrical Tape.Solved those problems.I got the stuff one day at a electrical supply house but they may sell it elsewhere.I also used it on all other connections too.Been a lifesaver!
