I found M1's any where from $500 for a very poor one all the way to 1500$ or more for all original ones ones. From what I found if you shop around and are patient you should be able to find a nice one for $1000-1200. You might be able to find a good one for even less than that if you are willing to take an import. By import I mean one that was shipped overseas for use by other governments and then brought back into the US at a later date. This hurts the collectors value of the gun but as long as no parts where replaced while overseas the only physical differance between a so called import and a non-import is the small import stamp that the US Government requires be placed on the gun when it is brought back into the country. I bought this one on gunbroker.com. If anyone was interested in one that would be one place to start looking. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll try to help you out. Alan
