I was looking to buy this Farmall Cub but when I test drove it there was a gear noise coming from, I dont know the correct name for them, the are the things the rear wheels are bolted to that go up to the axle. These are the risers that make the rear of a cub like high-rider. I'm pretty good at working with cars but I dont have too much experience with Cubs. I know if a car or truck was to make that noise it would mean it needed another transmition or rear end. Is it OK for a Cub to have a little gear noise and if so how much is too much ? Also has anyone put a tow bar on a Cub to pull it with another tractor ? Is there a way that could be done ?
