First: it's not the same thing to plow shallow twice as it is to plow deep once.
Second: since it is a meadow I'm going to assume it is sod. Sod is one of the most power consuming conditions to plow in. The roots act like reinforcing rod.
Third: borrow a bigger tractor cause the H will not be able to pull the plow deep enough to establish a quality seed bed. You'll be wasting your tractor, time, fuel.
Other than that you may be on the right track.
