You are right in that I am going to have to replace the switches. I think I duplicated that sereno with connections at the solenoid that weren't tight. Not enough "umph" to get it going and moisture in between here and there made for a nightmare. I would freak if it started uncommanded! That would have convinced me it had a life of it's own and I would have sold it in a heartbeat....to someone in some other country! Tractors can't swim, can they? I'm sure that all electrical will be replaced eventually. The insulation is so brittle and there are bare spots here and there. I had every intention of having it done by now. Thanks for the advice and the holiday greeting. Right back atcha! Diana
