Should be able to buy better draw bar items than what you got at a salvage yard. You might even find some with very little wear. The amount of wear on the draw bar of the tractor depended alot on what the tractor was used for. The draw bars that wore ussually got rebuilt back up. I have seen originals that looked in pretty good shape. Probably because tractor was used mostly with mounted implements.
