Used to see that once in a while when I worked at a IH dealership. We would spray, slosh as much diesel fuel as we could around the inside,let it sit for a while, drain it, do it again. Then fill up the rearend with a 1/2 mixture of diesel and Hytran,new filter, then run the tracter for a while and get the hydralics good and warm. Drain it and refill with Hytran and new filter. Run again and check the filter and replace it. Never lost a pump doing it that way.
