I remember all of this stuff with the gas caps when I was in my teens. As is noted in the other replys. You needed your original RED cap with a single hole in the very top of the cap. Most all of them have no fiber seal ring left! Name and model of tractor with serial #. Then you get a pretty new BLACK one with two holes and I think there is a better baffle system inside. I DID have one of these red caps shooting gas out of it on our 300U while plowing. When the tractor tips to the downhill side in a furrow..O BOY. It can realy spray with a hot tractor! If you need the TIME POLICE cap keep the red one and PAY for a new one; they a SAFER! Jeff
