Dave, Most rebuild kits have the dimple in the choke lever, but if yours doesnt, I would suggest that you use a rounded off punch and smack the lever where the ball would match up in the choke off position. It may not be such an easy task lining the dimple up, but if you measure closely, I'm sure it will work. If all else fails, there is always the spring to the governor trick that I have seen on many many H's and M's.
