It had never kicked before, but did this time and whacked the inside of my left arm really bad and threw the crank across the yard. I ended up with the ugliest bruise from shoulder to wrist that took almost a month to heal. And I was grateful that my arm was still attached to my shoulder, since I've heard the horror stories of other folks. Needless to say, I have followed all of the correct cranking procedures ever since, and the F-20 has never kicked again.
