Here we go again on the Red versus Green war. You know you can always tell a John Deere enthusiasts, but you can't tell them much. LOL In all reality, I am a Red fan myself nothing against the Green fans or there tractors. Personally, on the older green tractors, I think the hand clutch was a pain in the rear, and John Deere hung on to that early 1900's 2 cylinder technology a little to long. However, they probably were good tractors and my reasons for not liking them are probably poor ones. If I like appels and not oranges, and you like oranges and not apples, I am probably not going to change your mind and you are probably not going to change mine. Bottom line is, if he didn't like the M for whatever reasons, well I guess he is entitled to that, but no need to compare apples to oranges. I think a little stubbornism comes with being a tractor enthusiast, but no need in getting into a hair pulling fight over it. I have a Green buddy, and we always give each other a little freindly flack. We learned pretty fast not to take things very seriously. We would of probably killed each other by now if we had. No need to take things past the level of fun. The main thing is, just keep on tractoring.
