Possible,, the gasket may not be sealing around the venturi, Look at the float,, make sure that it is not rubbing the carb bowl,, and it is proper adjustment. Most of the ime, the float has got bent,, and is fillingthe bowl too full, The float should not hang down excessivly,, just enough to operate the needle, I can rebuild the carb completly for $125.00+shipping. I have kits in stock,, So check the float, the needle, all of the seals, and check the fuel bowl for warpage. If all of those are in check,, it should not leak.
