I don't know as I would go to a roller unless doing a lot of work where you let it swing. Like Bob said if you are doing a lot of work with it pined in center or any given location the roller will go flat on one side. Probably the hardest thing on the roller is a hay baler.

I remember buying a new roller for 560, I decided to buy strap as well and just use roller during main tillage season. That wasn't the answer either. The strap and roller as well are two of those items, that once you get them tight you never loosen them for anything. The roller is the hard one to keep tight if changing these during seasons. One idea I saw on a farm was drawbar equiped with roller and he used a heavy U bolt up from bottom, thus removing weight from roller and clamping swinging drawbar tight to cross bar, while doing PTO work.
