dave there were a few super m's made that have '54 serial numbers but i believe that these were made before super mta production got started. on the cover of my super mta owners manual it reads for super mta tractors and super mta tractors with torque amplifier. the ta and pto's were always optrions on tractors that they were available on. i have a 450 that has never had a ta and the pto is transmission driven, like an 'm'
