Dave - Boog described it right. There were two versions of live hydraulics on the SMTA: The Lift-All and the Hydraulic Remote. The Lift-All was for single acting cylinders and incorporated a delayed rear cylinder lift feature - same as the old belly pump system except of course it was now live. For extra $$ the Hydraulic Remote Control (the remote 4-way or "Christmas tree" valve) was offered to accommodate double acting cylinders. By latching the Lift-All control handle in the "raise" position, the Lift-All was bypassed and pressure was fed to the hydraulic remote control valve. So technically an SMTA equipped with remote hydraulics by default also had a Lift-All.
