Paul I don't remember that the bearing is on all that tight. So I think I can help you in 2 ways. Take the plate the transmission where the belt pulley would go that way you should be able to drive the old bearing off, put a rag under the bearing to keep anything from getting into the trany. It would take a small puller to pull the bearing off. When you put the TA housing on be sure you use dowel screws in the top 2 screw holes of the trany, grease the bearing to keep the roller in tight, I always had a rod in the shap of the bearing to help hold the bearing and shaft up to alain with the TA. Hope this is some help.
