That is a confusing subject to deal with. I am currently writing an article about this for Red Power Magazine. I guess to answer your question, it would have to be yes and no. Depends on what model of tractor (specifically year of production), and part. Early production(pre 1939) used the base part number for the specific part, and the suffixes not always interchanged. Later the parts would interchange lates suffix for earlier suffix. A confusing mess that not always holds true in both examples.
