Replaced rings and rod bearings in 574. Also rebuilt carberator. Unable to start, seems to be getting too much gas (plugs are black after running maybe 5 minutes, exhaust is thick). Did not mess with cam shaft, distributor or alter timing. Switching spark plug wires around on distributor does not affect how it runs (tried switching wires 180 degrees). Does not accelerate when throttle is opened up. Any suggestions?
