Farmallkid: Don't mind me, I'll let you in on a secret though. Back in my farming days there were about 8 major companies in the farm tractor and equipment business. Of those 8 brands of the 60s and 70s, I never saw a tractor that didn't have at least one feature I liked. I have also yet to see the perfect tractor. They were comming close in the early 80s then they added all this troublesome electronic junk. You can't profitably farm with a tractor that requires a $75. per hour mechanic every time some little problem occurs. My point is this, equipment is only as good as the dealer service you have, that guy right in your own hometown. This was always true and now with hi tech even more so. It doesn't matter what color you paint it anymore, they are all close to being alike. For better or for worse I don't know, fine if the powers that be can keep the economy from falling apart. I'd hate to go through a session like the dirty thirties with a post 1980 tractor of any color.
