Yeah John when I first eyeballed the tractor seriously as a potential buyer I always price the tractor in my head. 1000 was exactly my bid the way it sits now, before I knew about the engine. When I was quoted 995, I was grinning from ear to ear beacuse that was what I figured, but after the engine (they forgot what the problems were with it) and they went down to 750, I began to think that I may be able to offer a much lower price. If it was mechanically okay and needed a couple cosmetics (wiring, missing one front rim and tire but wheel is there, battery box bit rusted) I was going to say 1000. I have one more person to talk to who's advice I treasure more than anyone else's, and then I will make my final. I will be sure to let everyone know on this forum any progress on it. Thanks for the post.
